Thank You AMSA Teachers and Staff!!!
Recently, AMSA Families hosted the annual Teacher-Staff Appreciation Luncheon to show our appreciation for our fabulous faculty and staff! The generosity of AMSA families was overwhelming. The day was a demonstration of profound gratitude for all that our faculty & staff do, and it was also a show of the strength of our community. We hope everyone felt the love! Check out the AMSA PTO Website later this week for photos of this fun event.
Thank you to everyone who donated to this beloved “Appreciation” event and/or showed up to help out. It was a big hit thanks to the generosity of our families & amazing volunteers. Special thanks to our tireless organizing committee of Heidi Benjaminsen, Lucky Hoque, Julie Young, & Cindy Albert...and our devoted consultant, Amy Asman.
Earlier this summer, our AMSA Community came together for an amazing day at the 2nd Annual AMSA Golf Tournament. The day was filled with golf, festivities, prizes, auctions, delicious food, a little friendly competition, & all-around fun! Best of all, the event raised $18,000 (!!!) for the AMSA Science Research Program, which provides 10th-12th grade students with the opportunity to do graduate school level research while at AMSA.
Thank you to all those who volunteered and/or donated to this incredible community fundraising event! Our community is #strong! Special thanks to our hard-working organizing committee of Christy Allison, Krista Barton, Maura Webster, Lee Williams, Julie Young, Pete Jones, Dan Amaral, & Mark Vital.
*Save the Date for Next year’s 3rd Annual AMSA Golf Tournament: August 15, 2022. You won’t want to miss it!
AND the results are in: Last Saturday at Fenway was a blast! AMSA families kicked off the new school year in the stands at Fenway by cheering on --you guessed it-- our favorite baseball peeps, the Red Sox! Check out the photos of all the fun that was had on the AMSA PTO Facebook Page. If you missed this one, not to worry, another AMSA Day at Fenway is coming up in the spring! Woot Woot!
Special thanks to Lee Williams for making these Community Events with the Red Sox a great time for all.
In case you didn’t already know, the AMSA PTO is all of us...Every parent or legal guardian of an AMSA student is already a member of the AMSA PTO. Get involved! Volunteering can be a fun and rewarding experience, and your contribution benefits our entire community.
--Many hands make light work!
Please consider volunteering this year.
Email us at AMSACSPTO@gmail.com to find out how you can get involved.
Join us for our first (Virtual) AMSA PTO Community Meeting of the school year, on Wednesday September 29 at 7:00 PM. AMSA Guidance and a representative from SEPAC will give a special presentation. Link to join meeting is above.
Details to follow, but I can tell you it’s a big-time, don’t-wanna-miss-it community event that will spread goodness and cheer. And there’s pie involved.
Used Uniform Collection is Underway! Consider donating your kids’ gently used uniforms. You can drop donations off at the lower school front desk on school days. Your donations are a big help to our community! --Thank you!
